Event Description

Great news! The Peace Mural Foundation has just been invited to present our newest project, the mural IMMIGRATION – Wall of Borders, for the first time at the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) 2012 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, July 7th – 11th. Now we need to raise $7,500 so we can transport this mural to the conference. With your financial sponsorship and/or volunteer hours, we can bring this dynamic mural to the 40,000-plus attendees.

The 2012 NCLR Annual Conference, with over fifty workshops, four town halls, five key meal events including the Latinas Brunch and the NCLR Awards Gala, and its multiple networking events is poised to be the biggest Conference yet! At the same time, the NCLR is excited to bring the National Latino Family Expo to Las Vegas, a free event for everyone in the community. Expo is the ideal family fair that offers not only educational experiences for every member of the household but also offers to best and most cutting-edge games, prizes, live entertainment, product samples and more at various themed pavilions. Join us for four incredible days in Las Vegas, NV, July 7–10 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Convention Center!
