TORTURE – DOES IT REPRESENT AMERICAN VALUE?
Miami: -The Peace Mural Foundation is proud to announce that the U.S. Torture Mural by huong, 8foot tall x 100foot long will be on displayed in Jan 10-20th. Daily hours:2-10pm We have toured this exhibit all across the U.S. It was unveiled in Georgetown in DC on the first month of Barack Obama's presidency when he announced the closure of the Guantanamo Bay Prison. In Jan 2009 when appointed Eric Holder as Attorney general, this Prison served as a lightening rod for American Policy that has practiced torture of war detainees throughout the world.
Shut down Guantanamo!

The artist Huong dedicates this exhibit to all The War prisoners in the world and personally toward her father. Lt Colonel and author Le Huy Linh Vu of South VN army, who was captured and left behind 10 years in prison after the war and before his death. The visual biography of the Vietnamese-American artist, Huong is on exhibit. This cathartic mural connects the concepts of war, peace, immigration, refugees, justice, nature and displacement through the eyes of the survivor whose determination to pass the peace forward is purged and painted on canvas. Her Peace Opus is a culmination of 35 years of searing memories that bring history to life and depicts the universal pain of war.
This spectacular and timely exhibit is both evocative and provocative and will carry the power to echo for years to come. Her Peace Mural collectively forms a body of work that addresses worldwide issues today. This is a MUST SEE EXHIBIT!!!
